Odd's Story

Meticulously built in 1991, the boat was soon bought by Julio Fiadi, Brazil's first to reach both North and South Poles. After taking her on an expedition up Brazil's coast, the boat was hauled out for over 20 years.

In 2019, couple Duca and Roberta, from YouTube Channel Odd Life Crafting, persuaded Julio to sell them the boat and completely renovated it between 2019-2021. After sailing her from Brazil to the Caribbean, they sold her to us (Ricardo and Renata) in 2023, to sail around the world. We made additional supplementations to her, such as adding a watermaker, starlink, barbecue, new fridge, cushion covers and bottom painting, solved issues in the engine's exaust system, did pending woodwork, added new custom made nitrilic rubber gaskets to the diesel tank, and much more.

Two years and a half later, we are now finishing our circumnavigation, which has been the best years of our lives, and selling Odd in order to go back living on land. During our time as her owners, we have treated her with great care and kept the maintenance up to date. This is truly a one of a kind boat, extremely safe, that is completely ready for another circumnavigation. Odd is a great pleasure to sail and liveaboard.
